The 8K run/walk and 3K Family Fun Run (untimed) courses are along the Kim Williams Trail. The race is open to anyone wanting to get some fresh air and exercise before feasting on a Thanksgiving meal! It’s a great run/walk to do as a family on a holiday. The course is open to strollers and walkers. NO DOGS ALLOWED PLEASE. There are no aid stations. We encourage everyone to bring a non-perishable food item to donate to the Missoula Food Bank.
This race is part of the Run Wild Missoula Fall Race Challenge Series.
Everyone who signs up for the 8K gets a fleece hat. Door prizes are given to participants.
Awards are given in the form of Thanksgiving food to the top 3 female and top 3 male overall winners.
The 3K Family Fun Run is FREE, but we encourage participants to bring a nonperishable food item to be donated to the Missoula Food Bank. The 3K is untimed and noncompetitive-- perfect for kids and families.
The entry fee for the 8K is $16/RWM members, $18/nonmembers (through November 7); $21/RWM members and $23/nonmembers (through November 21 at noon); and $28/members and $30/nonmembers on November 21 from 3:30 - 6 p.m. at the Runner's Edge and on race morning, November 22, at 8 a.m. at the start. Participants get a CHIP time, a fleece hat and are eligible for overall and door prizes.
Race day registration is at 8 a.m. at the race start.
