I am an insulin dependent diabetic in the half marathon training class. I am a beginning runner (Started last spring.) and would love to chat with other diabetics and share some experiences and tips, and maybe meet for a run if it works out.
P.S. I am on an insulin pump.
Any others out there?

Hi Lisa,
I'm suprised I didn't see this before.
This is a great spot for diabetics to talk about running(and other excercise), as I know there are probably lots of people who aren't in the training group.
I am meeting with Carla Cox tomorrow to discuss diabetic running group ideas. I want to get a website going, and make it so everyone can use it to post events, discuss issues, post stories of their races, games or any other acivities.
Do you, or does anyone else have ideas. After I talk with Carla, do you want to meet somewhere some time to talk about other ideas?
