
The Marathon Course 26.2 Miles
The marathon course begins in the beautiful Montana countryside of Frenchtown, Montana. The course follows the Frenchtown Valley and the Clark Fork River into the City of Missoula. Run along tree-lined streets into the grand finish in Downtown Missoula at the Higgins Ave. Bridge. . USATF certification . (paved and flat with one hill) CLICK for the new > Course map.
The Half Marathon Course 13.1 Miles
The half marathon course begins on Blue Mountain road, merges with the marathon course on River Pines Road near the Bitterroot River and and finishes in Downtown Missoula at the Higgins Ave. Bridge. CLICK for the new > Course map.
Aid Stations
There will be aid stations along the course. Each aid station will have water and PowerBar Endurance Drink. PowerBar Energy Gels will be given out at two aid stations for the marathon runners:
1. Mile 15.6 River Pines at Big Flat Rd
2. Mile 23 Brooks & Beckwith/Caffe Dolce
PowerBar Energy Gels will be given out at one aid station for the half marathon runners:

Kids Marathon
Kids can do it! You will receive a registration packet, including a log to keep track of your miles. Prior to race day, walk or run one mile at a time. Mark it on your log. Stop when you have completed 25 miles. On Marathon Day, come run or walk your final 1.2 miles! Finish in Downtown Missoula at Higgins Ave. Bridge just like the adult marathon runners! You are now a Marathoner!
