The Missoula Marathon & The Good Food Store

presents:

“"Formulating Your Race Strategy for the Missoula Marathon ”

June 9 , 2008 Monday at 7 pm at the Good Food Store Good Food Store classroom.
The Good Food Store will once again be hosting these FREE monthly seminars, PLUS providing the fabulous food for marathon runners at the Missoula Marathon.

Speakers:      Tom Raunig, Head Cross Country and Track Coach at the University of Montana, former All-American and 2:12 marathoner;
Courtney Babcock, professional runner with Mountain West Track Club and 2004 Olympian.

You've done all the training.  You've tested all your gear.  You've perfected your nutrition.  Now the big day is coming up:   the Missoula Marathon and Half Marathon on Sunday, July 13.  What should you do on race day?  How should you pace your race?  Should you "bank time"?  Start conservatively and speed up if everything is going well?  What do you do to recover?
We're very fortunate to have these two top caliber athletes in our community.  Take advantage of what they know and come to this seminar.  Space is limited and we frequently run out of room for this series, so come early.

The event is free, but seating is limited to 40-50. The Good Food Store is located at 1600 S. Third St. W., Missoula
