Cross Training for Injury Prevention & Enhanced Performance

Join us as we listen to Rhea Dahlberg, Vicky Pounds, and Meg Lerch speak about the benefits of cross training and how it can effectively enhance your performance and keep you injury-free.

Rhea, co-owner of Momentum, a downtown-based personal training studio, has extensive knowledge in training various types of levels of athletes. She is a nationally certified personal trainer and a founding partner of Momentum Athletic Training. She has certification and extensive training and work experience in massage and bodywork, exercise science, nutrition, and natural, holistic approaches to health and human performance.

Vicky Pounds, currently coach of Mountain West Youth Track, is former professional runner, who ran at the international level at the height of her career. She competed professionally for Nike and then the Mountain West Track Club and now coaches high school track athletes in the Missoula area. She is also a certified personal trainer and has extensive knowledge of cross-training and weight training.

Meg Lerch, a professional runner for Mountain West Track Club, was recently sidelined for the past year and a half with a running-related injury. With the help of Rhea, Vicky, and others, Meg now has knowledge of cross-training thanks to her hip. Meg enjoys running but realizes the huge benefits of cross training and how it can not only keep you injury free, but enhance your running performance.
