Whether you want to train to run or walk a 5K or a marathon we have the class for you.

Run Wild Missoula's Missoula Marathon training classes for runners and walkers will help you accomplish your goal for the Missoula Marathon or Half Marathon on July 13, 2014. Register for the Galloway Marathon or Galloway Half Marathon Training Class (run-walk-run), the Missoula Marathon and Half Marathon Training Class or the Missoula Marathon Walking Class (registration coming soon).

We offer other classes like Trail Running (spring and fall) and Beginner Running (fall only). Keep checking back for registration information.

Did you qualify for Boston? Maybe you want to train for another spring marathon or maintain your mileage through the winter? The Spring/Boston Marathon Training Class will start again in December 2013.

Then there's Yoga for Runners on Tuesdays at lunchtime and Thursday evenings and Core Strength Training for Runners on Wednesdays at lunchtime to help you maintain your fitness. Core classes are also offered on Monday evenings.

Run Wild Missoula Annual Meeting of Members 09/10/2014 FREE Details 
As a 501c3 nonprofit organization, Run Wild Missoula is required to have an annual meeting of its member. We don't mind as we're always looking for an excuse to get together, run and socialize. Start your evening with a run from member JB Yonce's house, 5501 Rattlesnake Drive at 5:30 p.m., led by the Run Wild Missoula Board of Directors. We'll then treat you to dinner before we begin our Annual Meeting of Members around 7 p.m. This is your chance to find out more about what your running club has been up to this year and what is in the works. The Run Wild Missoula Board of Directors will give a report, acknowledge exceptional volunteers and ask for your input. As always, there will be time to socialize with running and walking friends.
Beginner Runner 101 Training Class 08/20/2014 $10.00 Details 
Are you having a hard time getting motivated to start running, or lacking consistency? Don't know where to begin, or you don't want to do it alone? Perhaps you are coming back from a long absence from running and need to start out slow, and ease back in. If you are nodding your head yes, then this class is for you.
Thursday Evening Yoga for Runners 04/17/2014 $92.00 Details 
Stay healthy and injury-free by signing up for Yoga for Runners. Run Yoga Missoula is offering two yoga classes specifically designed with the active person's body in mind. Each class will focus on stretching, strengthening and balancing poses that will compliment all of the miles you are logging each week.
Wednesday Lunch Core Strength Training for Runners 04/16/2014 $79.00 Details 
This class is designed to keep a runner's core strong. Core work conditions the body from the abdominals to the arms and legs. Often runners are much stronger in their lower extremities than their core. This results in an imbalance in the body that it will continuously try to remedy. Classes are held at MOVE Missoula, 1900 Broadway, C (Mon. class) and the Runner's Edge, 304 N. Higgins Ave. (Wed. class). Mats provided, comfortable clothing recommended, running shoes not required.

Race Timing Workshop 04/14/2014 FREE Details 
Learn the basics of what is involved in hand timing a race. This workshop will be led by Anders Brooker, owner of the Runners Edge, Missoula Marathon Race Director and Hellgate High School distance running coach. Anders has been timing races for several years and will cover the logistics of timing a race, including organizing volunteers, communicating to participants, how to use the timing equipment, setting up a simple finish line and compiling results efficiently.

Back of the Pack Trail Running Class 04/10/2014 FREE Details 
Join enthusiastic trail runners Connie Chestnutt and Amy Moore and other guests on Thursdays at 6 p.m. for a great workout. This class is for Back of the Pack runners and walkers who want to learn the trails. We'll also cover other trail running topics like injury prevention and nutrition. Participants should expect to run approximately 2 - 4 miles on trails each Thursday evening. This is a great class for those training for spring trail runs like the Pengelly Single Dip. The 8-week class starts on Thursday, April 10 and continues until Thursday, May 29. This class is limited to 20 people.
Intermediate Trail Running Class 04/10/2014 FREE Details 
Join enthusiastic trail runners Jamie Swartz and Rika Botzet and other guests on Thursdays at 6 p.m. for a great workout. This class is for intermediate runners who want to learn trail running techniques like how to run uphill and downhill, injury prevention, nutrition and other trail running topics. Participants should expect to run 6 miles or more on trails each Thursday.
Missoula Marathon Walking Class 03/22/2014 $45.00 Details 
Get ready for the 2013 Missoula Marathon or Half Marathon with Run Wild Missoula's walking training program for anyone. All you have to be is someone who wants to complete the half or full Missoula Marathon on Sunday, July 13, 2014.
Missoula Marathon & Half Marathon Training Class 03/09/2014 $75.00 Details 
Get ready for the 2014 Missoula Marathon or Half Marathon with Run Wild Missoula's training program for anyone. You don't have to be a semi-professional athlete, former track star, 5 percent body fat or logging 30 miles a week to participate. All you have to be is someone who wants to complete the half or full Missoula Marathon on Sunday, July 13, 2014.

Boston/Spring Marathon Training Class 12/19/2013 $50.00 Details 
This is an advanced marathon training program designed for runners competing in the 2014 Boston Marathon on Monday, April 21, 2014 or another spring marathon. This 16-week training program meets up to 4 times each week and will begin on Monday, December 19 at 5:30 p.m. with an informational session and will continue until the Boston Marathon. Come ready to run on Sunday, January 5.
