While we are grateful for our allies\, we’re excited to offer this experience for our queer community.  \nRun Wild Missoula membership is not required\, but encouraged. Runners are responsible for their own beverage and food purchases. Non-alcoholic beverages are also available.

SUMMARY:Roads\, Tracks\, and Trails Virtual Memorial Run
DESCRIPTION:  \nOn October 14\, 2020 our Montana running family lost a treasured friend and invaluable supporter. Tony Banovich\, Race Director for the Missoula Marathon and Executive Director of Run Wild Missoula was kind\, generous\, and encouraging of all\, welcoming countless new runners over the years. He was deeply dedicated to both Missoula and Montana running communities. \n  \nIn 2021 this in-person event challenged participants to run or walk 4.35 miles – the average daily distance of Tony’s 1\,731 day run streak – while raising funds for the Tony Banovich Memorial Fund\, furthering Tony’s legacy of supporting running and walking throughout Missoula and Montana. \n  \nWe are pleased to continue this Memorial run as a virtual option to participants in December 2022. The original course included a little roads\, tracks\, and trails in and around Playfair Park. You are welcome to run this route or choose your own adventure to celebrate Tony’s life and legacy on the 4.35 mile route that suits you. \n  \nThe virtual event will continue to raise funds for the Tony Banovich Memorial Fund.

No problem. Join the Virtual Resolution Run for 2025!  Run a 5k on January 1st\, record your time\, submit your results\, pick up your No-Peek Envelope at Runner’s Edge. \nIn order to maintain the spirit of this event and sustain accessibility\, we will not be offering a swag item for the Resolution Run 5K. Instead\, we encourage participants to BYOM (bring your own mug!).
