DESCRIPTION:JULY BOP SOCIAL: Exploring Milltown\n\n\nDATE: Sunday July 17\n\n\n\n\nTIME:   10:00 AM (hoping to dodge the heat)\n\n\n\n\nPLACE: Meet at the new parking lot on Deer Creek Road\, just past the railroad tracks on the left\, before the hill to the Overlook.\n\n\n\n\nROUTE:   From the parking lot take a new gravel trail 0.5 miles to the old railroad tunnel\, then back 025 miles to the Overlook Trail junction.   Climb about 200 feet on a narrow single track through the forest to the overlook.   Eat lunch at picnic tables near the overlook.   Return down the Overlook trail and out to the parking lot.   (A shorter\, flatter option is to return from the tunnel to the parking lot and drive up the hill to the overlook.)\n\n\n\nFOOD AND DRINK:   This time (for a change) we are asking everyone to bring their own lunch/snacks/beverage in a backpack or running vest.   We will have our social time midway on the hike in the overlook area at the top of the hill. DESCRIPTION:This run is our regularly scheduled beer run on the last Wednesday of the month. Come run with us to celebrate another successful Missoula Marathon weekend. You can shake out those tired legs or just swap stories from the previous weekend. A 3 and 5 mile course will be offered\, plus you’ll have access to that huge Cranky Sam beverage list\, which includes a large selection of non-alcoholic drinks as well.

DESCRIPTION:Finishing a marathon is child’s play with the MISSOULA KIDS MARATHON!   This non-competitive\, non-timed\, race is a combination of a logging marathon and a one-mile fun run for children ages 13 and under.
