The new year is here and as always some things have changed and some have not.
Run Wild’s first race of the year is still the Catch’em If You Can 5K coming up on Saturday, February 15th which will be here before you know it, so sign up now. The race still has its unique format with the ladies starting first and the gentlemen following 3 minutes later. Same great sponsors, Runners Edge, Townsquare Media, and Big Dipper Ice Cream. Socks and an ice cream cone for all runners. It can’t get better than that! Same race time, 9:30 am for the ladies and 9:33 am for the gentlemen. Same race directors. One loud and grumpy and the other just as nice and sweet as can be. You figure out which one is which.
So what has changed you may be thinking. In our continuing efforts to improve the race, the Catch’em If You Can has a new location and a new course. The race will start/finish in the parking lot on the west side of Osprey Stadium. The course will take advantage of the new trails in Silver Park and the new section of Wyoming St completed this past summer. See map below. The new course also gives spectators more opportunities to see the runners racing. The Catch’em If You Can also has a new beneficiary with proceeds going to Missoula Cross Country & Track and Field.
Please join us on Saturday, February 15 for the same, but redesigned, Catch’em If You Can 5K.
