Thanks for helping us  give back to the open spaces we are so lucky to have in our backyards!

This class is limited to 30 people

Class instructors:

  • Forrest Boughner: Forrest is returning for his third year of leading the Advance Trail Class.  He has spent the last few years exploring the mountains around Montana, working at Runner's Edge, and coaching trail runners.  Forrest also owns and operates a trail guiding company, Alpine Running Guides.
  • Jesse Carnes: Jesse has been a mainstay in the Missoula endurance scene for the better part of the last decade. He spent several years as a competitive triathlete, and while he hasn’t completely hung up his wetsuit and speed laces, these days you’re more likely to find him frolicking in the mountains. He knows the local trail systems like the back of his hand and is always eager to share his enthusiasm for running.
  • In addition to Forrest and Jesse, we will have different instructors from the community joining each week to share their experience and knowledge.
