Club Classes

July 16th - One of the challenges of leadership is having to make difficult and/or unpopular decisions for the greater good. To that end, Run Wild Missoula will not produce any event or activity in the current environment unless we are completely comfortable that we have done our best to protect the safety and mitigate risk for our members, race participants and greater Missoula community. And, we will not promote or support other events that have not demonstrated that they are following basic safety and risk management guidelines.

Even though the last few months have been hard on all of us, RWM has been working hard to provide our members with safe training and racing opportunities. We are excited to announce a variety of classes you can look forward to in the coming months.

In-Person Classes:
We will offer two in-person classes this fall; trail sessions and beginner running classes. Keep your eye open for registration starting mid-August.

Whether you want to train to run or walk a 5K or a marathon, we have the class for you! 
Run Wild Missoula's Missoula Marathon training classes for runners and walkers will help you accomplish your goal for the 
Missoula Marathon or Half Marathon on June 28th, 2020.  Register for the Galloway Marathon or Galloway Half Marathon Training Class (run-walk-run), Missoula Half Marathon Walking Class, or the Missoula Marathon and Half Marathon Training Class. We also offer trail running classes - Trail Running 101, Trail Running 201, Trail Running 301, and Run-Hike-Run, and Trail Running 301.

Then there's Yoga for Runners on Tuesdays at lunchtime and Thursday evenings and Core Strength Training for Runners on Wednesdays at lunchtime to help you maintain your fitness.

Trail Running Sessions are back for Fall 2020! Run Wild Missoula is offering a variety of trail running sessions designed to get you ready for a season of strong and healthy trail running. Our trail classes are geared toward everyone. We offer sessions for people brand new to trails to the experienced trail runner, and everyone in between.
Beginner Running 101, Fall 2020 09/02/2020 $25.00 Details 
Are you having a hard time getting motivated to start running, or do you lack consistency?
Don't know where to begin?
Don't want to do it alone?
Perhaps you are coming back from a long absence from running and need to build up slowly.

If you are nodding your head yes, then this class is for you!
Join us for a fun training program that will start with running/walking intervals and gradually work up to completing the Wicked Wander Virtual Race. This is truly a beginner's class so don't be intimidated. Pace doesn't matter. Your goal will be to complete a 5K run, and our goal will be to inspire you to keep on going long after this training class is finished.
12-Week Virtual Training Plan 07/20/2020 $24.00 Details 
Stay moving and motivated this fall with a flexible, easy to follow 12-Week Virtual Training Plan! This plan can accommodate any runner; whether you're training for your first 5K or your 20th. This is a low-cost option to keep you on track to help you achieve your 5K, 10K, or even half marathon goals this fall. Use the plan as a tool for the Diamond Dash, Missoula Mile, or Run For Missoula!
