Whether you want to train to run or walk a 5K or a marathon, we have the class for you!

Run Wild Missoula's Missoula Marathon training classes for runners and walkers will help you accomplish your goal for the Missoula Marathon or Half Marathon on July 15, 2018.  Register for the Galloway Marathon or Galloway Half Marathon Training Class (run-walk-run), or the Missoula Marathon and Half Marathon Training Class.

We also offer trail running classes - both Beginner/BOP Trail Running and Intermediate Trail Running (spring and fall), and Advanced Trail Running (summer).

Did you qualify for Boston? Maybe you want to train for another spring marathon or half marathon or maintain your mileage through the winter? The Spring Marathon & Half-Marathon Advanced Training Class starts January 2018.

Then there's Yoga for Runners on Tuesdays at lunchtime and Thursday evenings and Core Strength Training for Runners on Wednesdays at lunchtime to help you maintain your fitness.

Thursday Evening Yoga, Spring Session 2018 04/05/2018 $94.00 Details 
Spring into the upcoming race season by incorporating Yoga into your current running/walking routine. Run Yoga Missoula is offering two yoga classes specifically designed with the runner's/walker's body in mind. Each class will focus on relaxation & breathing, stretching, core strengthening and balancing poses that will compliment all of the miles you are logging each week. Whether you have just started walking or are training to run or walk the Missoula Full or Half Marathon, this class will challenge and inspire you to take care of your body and mind. Classes are held downstairs at the Runner's Edge. Yoga mats, straps, and blocks are provided.
Advanced Spring 2018 Trail Running Class 04/05/2018 FREE Details 
The Runner's Edge and Run Wild Missoula are partnering up again this spring to offer the Advanced Spring Trail Running Class designed to get you ready for a season of strong and healthy trail running. This nine week class will meet twice a week, with a Thursday morning workout and a Sunday morning long run. This class caters toward the intermediate to advanced trail runner and is designed to get you ready for spring trail races such as Runner's Edge The Bitterroot Runoff, 11 Miles to Paradise and Run Wild Missoula's Pengelly Double & Single Dips. This is a great opportunity to start the year off strong and ready for a fun trail running season!

Intermediate Spring 2018 Trail Running Class 04/03/2018 FREE Details 
Join enthusiastic trail runners Jess Zephyrs, Suzie Witmer, and Amelia Hagen-Dillon, on Thursdays at 6 p.m. for a great workout. This class is for intermediate runners who want to learn trail running techniques like how to run faster downhill and uphill, injury prevention, nutrition and other trail running topics.
BOP Spring 2018 Trail Running Class 04/03/2018 FREE Details 
This class is for Back of the Pack runners and walkers who want to learn the trails. We'll also cover other trail running topics like injury prevention and nutrition. Participants should expect to run approximately 2 - 4 miles on trails each Tuesday evening. The 8-week class starts on Tuesday, April 3rd, and continues through Tuesday, May 22nd.
Missoula Marathon Walking Class, 2018 03/31/2018 $45.00 Details 
If you're looking for a low impact way to train for and successfully complete the Missoula Marathon and Half Marathon on July 15, 2018, and also develop a network of fun, knowledgeable, encouraging folks of all shapes, sizes, and ages, then this is the class for you! Join the Missoula Marathon or Half Marathon Walking Training Class at the Run Wild Missoula offices at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 31, 2018! Experienced walker and runner John Pitcairn will be leading the class again this year.
2018 Missoula Marathon & Half Marathon Training Class 03/18/2018 $100.00 Details 
New this year: 17-week training class, with weekly group runs on Sundays and Wednesdays! We're changing up the plan and bringing you something fresh to get ready for the 2018 Missoula Marathon & Half Marathon, on July 15.
Galloway 2018 Half Marathon Training Program (19-Week) 03/04/2018 $81.00 Details 
- A 19-week training schedule that embodies Jeff Galloway's conservative low-mileage, low-injury approach to distance running
- A program that employs Galloway's trademarked run-walk-run approach, using very short run walk intervals based on your current fitness (training ratios generally range from 15 seconds run-30 seconds walk, up to 30-seconds run-30 seconds walk)
- Pace groups led by experienced and caring pace group leaders who offer personalized encouragement and coaching
