Run Wild Missoula's Missoula Marathon training classes for runners and walkers will help you accomplish your goal for the Missoula Marathon or Half Marathon on July 9, 2017. Register for the Galloway Marathon or Galloway Half Marathon Training Class (run-walk-run), or the Missoula Marathon and Half Marathon Training Class.

We offer other classes like Trail Running - both BOP Trail Running and Intermediate Trail Running - (spring and fall) and Beginner Running (fall only).

Did you qualify for Boston? Maybe you want to train for another spring marathon or half marathon or maintain your mileage through the winter? The Spring Marathon & Half-Marathon Advanced Training Class starts January 2017.

Then there's Yoga for Runners on Tuesdays at lunchtime and Thursday evenings and Core Strength Training for Runners on Wednesdays at lunchtime to help you maintain your fitness.

Intermediate Spring Trail Running Class 04/06/2017 FREE Details 
Join enthusiastic trail runners Jess Zephyrs and Suzie Witmer, along with other guests, for a great workout. This class is for intermediate runners who want to learn trail running techniques like how to run faster downhill and uphill, injury prevention, nutrition and other trail running topics.
BOP Spring Trail Running Class 04/04/2017 FREE Details 
A class for Back of the Pack runners and walkers who want to learn the trails! We'll also cover other trail running topics like injury prevention and nutrition. Participants should expect to run approximately 2 - 4 miles on trails each Tuesday evening. The 8-week class starts on Tuesday, April 4th, and continues through Tuesday, May 23rd. This class is limited to 30 people.
Missoula Marathon & Half Marathon Training Class 04/02/2017 $100.00 Details 
New this year: 14-week training class, with weekly group runs on Sundays and Thursdays! We're changing up the plan and bringing you something fresh to get ready for the 2017 Missoula Marathon & Half Marathon, on July 9. Pre-class information meeting on Tuesday, 3/28, at 6 p.m.
Advanced Spring Trail Running Class 03/30/2017 FREE Details 
The Runner's Edge and Run Wild Missoula are partnering up again this spring to offer the Advanced Spring Trail Running Class designed to get you ready for a season of strong and healthy trail running. This nine week class will meet twice a week, with a Thursday morning workout and a Sunday morning long run. This class caters toward the intermediate to advanced trail runner and is designed to get you ready for spring trail races.
Missoula Marathon Walking Class 03/18/2017 $45.00 Details 
If you're looking for a low impact way to train for and successfully complete the Missoula Marathon and Half Marathon on July 9, 2017, and also develop a network of fun, knowledgeable, encouraging folks of all shapes, sizes, and ages, then this is the class for you! Join the Missoula Marathon or Half Marathon Walking Training Class at the Run Wild Missoula offices at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 18, 2017!
Galloway Half Marathon 19-week Training Program 02/26/2017 $81.00 Details 
· A 19-week training schedule that embodies Jeff Galloway's conservative low-mileage, low-injury approach to distance running
· A program that employs Galloway's trademarked run-walk-run approach, using very short run walk intervals based on your current fitness (training ratios generally range from 15 seconds run-30 seconds walk, up to 30-seconds run-30 seconds walk)
· Pace groups led by experienced and caring pace group leaders who offer personalized encouragement and coaching
· Water stations for runs of 10 miles and longer; post-run snacks from the beginning of the program
Wednesday CORE Lunch Class Winter 01/25/2017 $79.00 Details 
This class is designed to keep a runner's core strong. Core work conditions the body from the abdominals to the arms and legs. Often runners are much stronger in their lower extremities than their core. This results in an imbalance in the body that it will continuously try to remedy. Wednesday lunch classes are held at the Runner's Edge, 304 N. Higgins Ave. Mats provided, comfortable clothing recommended, running shoes not required.
Galloway Marathon 24-week Training Program 01/22/2017 $107.00 Details

Thursday Evening Yoga, Winter Session 01/12/2017 $90.00 Details 
Start 2017 off right and resolve to stay healthy and injury-free by signing up for Yoga for Runners. Class will focus on stretching, strengthening and balancing poses that will compliment all of the miles you are logging each week. Whether you have just started walking or are training for a marathon, this class will challenge and inspire you to take care of your body and mind in the New Year. Classes are held downstairs at the Runners Edge. Yoga mats, straps and blocks are provided.
Tuesday Lunch Yoga, Winter Session 01/10/2017 $85.00 Details

Spring Marathon & Half-Marathon Advanced Training Class 12/14/2016 $45.00 Details 
An advanced marathon and half-marathon training program designed for runners competing in marathons and half-marathons occurring in spring 2017 - participants should be experienced runners capable of completing a full marathon in 4:15, or less, and a half marathon in 2:00, or less.
Meet 12/14/16 to be ready to run 01/01/17!
