2017 Missoula Mile Results HERE.
The Missoula Mile works to raise awareness about Prostate Cancer. According to the Centers for Disease Control, prostate cancer is the most common cancer and the 2nd leading cause of cancer death among men. Part of our goal is to raise awareness so that men get regular health screenings for this and other cancers.
We’re also proud to help raise funds to be allocated to local resources for education, diagnosis and treatment of prostate cancer. Over the last 6 years, the Missoula Mile has raised over $35,000 towards these efforts. Through collaboration with Providence Montana Health Foundation and Partnership Health Center, proceeds have been used locally to support prostate cancer patients of Western Montana.
