Run Wild Missoula

Sole Mates

Year-Round, First Friday of the Month

Missoula Sole Mates

November – March we will meet the first Friday of every month at the Run Wild Missoula Office (125 E Main St.) at 6:00 PM!

Sole Mates is all about meeting new friends, finding running buddies, and maybe even sparking a little romance! All paces are welcome, and you definitely don’t have to be single to join the fun.

Who says the party stops when the sun goes down? Welcome to Sole Mates After Dark, where winter nights turn into a running rave! Grab your headlamp, break out the glow sticks, and deck yourself out in all things bright and flashy for a 3-mile social run through Missoula! We’re bringing the party to the pavement with good vibes, glowing gear, and plenty of opportunities to make new connections.

Stick around after the run for mingling, and more good times. Glow sticks, colorful lights, reflective gear, and anything that lights up the night are HIGHLY encouraged!

Our Sole Mate runs are open to all runners and walkers. Run Wild Missoula membership is not required, but non members are required to sign a waiver prior to the start. Join Run Wild Missoula.

Our next run:

Friday, November 6

Run Wild Missoula, 6:00 PM

The run is free for members and non-members, though non members are required to sign a waiver prior to the start. To avoid that, please consider joining. It’s a great value at only $27/year for an individual membership or just $37/year for families. Join Run Wild Missoula.

As outlined in our “Rules of the Run,” for safety reasons, we ask that dogs are not present during Missoula Sole Mates.

Meet the Sole Mates Program Leader, Kaleigh!

Kaleigh Mahaney is the Run Wild Missoula Sole Mates run leader. After moving to Missoula in 2025 and training for her first half marathon with Run Wild Missoula, she discovered not only a love for running but also the power of community. She’s passionate about creating welcoming spaces where people can connect, make new friends, or maybe even meet someone special – all through the simple act of sharing a few miles together.

When she’s not running, she’s usually at Cranky Sam’s, exploring everything Missoula has to offer, or listing to true crime podcasts.

"I joined Run Wild Missoula in order to prep for the Missoula Half Marathon, for the added discipline that comes with training alongside 200 other people, rather than just flying solo. Plus: Sweet shirt. Sweet discounts. Good people."
