February 2027 – Run Wild Missoula is pleased to host a virtual challenge for your winter training motivation or kick off your Missoula Marathon training! We are offering four different challenges for you to stay motivated and engaged all the while raising money for a great cause.

2.13.27 – Beat the winter doldrums with this amazing event that celebrates that love is love is love! See you at the Heart Throb 5K!

February – Everyone has the right to safe and inclusive experiences in public spaces and in the running and walking community.

Join RWM for a free, 2.23 mile Run/Walk (virtual or in-person).

2.27.27 – Join us in Seeley Lake and challenge yourself to 13.1 blazing fast, freezing cold miles! 

3.13.27 – Kick off St. Patrick’s Day with Run Wild Missoula and Run for the Luck of It!

4.10.27 – Run Wild Missoula is partnering with Missoula Parks & Recreation to offer the Missoula community the annual Run for the Trees!

6.6.27 – Celebrate this iconic summer trail race! Some serious shenanigans this year for the Pengelly Double Dip and Bob Hayes Single Dip! Virtual option for the Double Dip as well!

June 25-27, 2027– Our signature, award winning course and race is flat, fast, USATF certified and a Boston Qualifier!

8.22.26– River City Roots Festival, our region’s largest arts and music festival, showcases the gem of Western Montana “” Downtown Missoula!

August 22-23, 2026 -Missoula’s first closed-loop 24-hour race, Dog Days Ultra presents runners with the opportunity to test both speed and endurance on a 1.68-mile gravel aggregate loop with a whopping 9 feet of elevation! Located at the Big Sky Park, the race offers runners a supported environment to see just how far they can go as well as continuous and stunning 360 views of Missoula’s local mountain ranges.

September 2026 – Run Wild Missoula is honored to offer a Virtual Half Marathon with 100% of race proceeds going to All Nations Health Center.

9.27.26 – More Fierce. More Fabulous. Join us next year in celebrating women’s running!

10.18.26 – These unique trail races finishes in Missoula’s University District featuring less than 2 miles of pavement and some of the smoothest single track in Montana. Both the 50K & 25K highlight the best of Missoula’s iconic open space, conservation lands and recreation areas.

10.25.26 – Enjoy fall family fun with Run Wild Missoula and UM’s Physical Therapy Student Association at the Skeleton Skedaddle 5K & Kids Pumpkin Run!

11.7.26– Don’t miss the opportunity to take part in the only organized trail race on Mt. Jumbo. Virtual options too!

11.26.26– Start your Thanksgiving Day with fresh air and exercise and join us on Thursday, November 27th for our turkey trot! We have an awesome 8K – NEW THIS YEAR: 5K! – and FREE 3K!

December 2025 – The Roads, Tracks, and Trails Memorial Run was created to honor Tony Banovich’s legacy and ensure continued support for Run Wild Missoula.
