Run Wild Missoula
Run Wild Readers
Seasonal Book Club

Run Wild Readers brings together two of our favorite things: good books and great community!
The group meets monthly from September through March, with a different book selected for each gathering. Reads may include novels, memoirs, running-related stories, and other books that spark meaningful conversation and connection.
Come ready to chat, share your perspective, meet fellow RWM members, and connect beyond the miles. You don’t have to be a book club pro—or even finish every page—to join the conversation. Run Wild Readers is all about creating another welcoming space to gather, learn from one another, and enjoy a good story together.
October 2026

Our next Run Wild Readers pick is The Brightside Running Club by Josie Lloyd!
This uplifting novel follows a group of women brought together by breast cancer—and by running. What begins as a way to keep moving through treatment grows into a powerful friendship filled with laughter, support, resilience, and plenty of miles.
In the spirit of Breast Cancer Awareness Month and our own incredible running community, this felt like the perfect next read. The Brightside Running Club is a heartfelt reminder that running can be about so much more than pace or distance—it can be a place to find strength, connection, and people who help carry you through life’s toughest miles.
We have 12 copies of The Brightside Running Club available for Run Wild Missoula members. You can pick up a copy at the RWM office; first come first served.
