Welcome to Run Wild Missoula
Our mission is to support Missoula's runners and walkers of all ages, abilities and backgrounds. With more than 2,500 members, you'll find like-minded movers - along with plenty of ways to expand your view of Missoula. We are proud to be a group suited for both beginners and elites, offering a full slate of yearly races, weekly training groups, educational events, volunteer opportunities and everything in between. If you want to get fit, compete, or meet new folks, join us and get moving.

Missoula Marathon Weekend of Events
The Missoula Marathon has been named as the Best Marathon In The U.S. on several occasions. Throughout the weekend enjoy a variety of events including a free Beer Run, 5K, Kids Run, Half Marathon, Expo & more!

Dog Days Ultra
Missoula’s first closed-loop 24-hour race, Dog Days Ultra presents runners with the opportunity to test both speed and endurance on a 1.68-mile gravel aggregate loop with a whopping 9 feet of elevation! Located at the Big Sky Park, the race offers runners a supported environment to see just how far they can go as well as continuous and stunning 360 views of Missoula’s local mountain ranges.

City to Sky Trail Runs
These unique trail races finishes in Missoula’s University District featuring less than 2 miles of pavement and some of the smoothest single track in Montana. Both races highlight the best of Missoula’s iconic open space, conservation lands and recreation areas.
