Meghann Cranford

Meg is a renewable energy expert, flower lover, ice cream fanatic that’s been running trails in Missoula since 2023. She started running in middle school as a way to alleviate angsty feelings. She learned that if she ran before school she had a better day – a lesson that still holds true years later. She set a goal of running 30 miles before she turned 30 – completing her first 50k a couple of years ago. You can find her out on the trails running with her pup Kya or documenting wildflowers as they bloom.

She’s excited to support Run for the Luck of It and to honor Irish resistance. The race can serve as an acknowledgment for all people fighting to protect their land and heritage. We’re not free until we’re all free.

"I joined Run Wild Missoula to meet other runners in this area and to have the opportunity to run a variety of races and fun runs since my husband does not run. I live in Montana five or six months a year and found that this was a great way to meet new people. The scenery here is so inspiring!"
