Put on your creepiest costumes, stretch those spooky legs, and enjoy this frightfully fun run with Run Wild Missoula and UM’s Physical Therapy Student Association at the Skeleton Skedaddle 5K & Kids Pumpkin Run!
Skedaddle over to Silver Park on Sunday, October 26th. Halloween costumes are strongly encouraged!
In 2024 we raised $1,899 to go toward The University of Montana’s Physical Therapy Student Association to assist students with opportunities to enhance their educational experience.
FREE 400 Meter Kids Pumpkin Run:
Ages 10 and Under
Kids Pumpkin Run will start at 10:00 AM; prior to the Skeleton Skedaddle 5k
Untimed. No bib.
All kids participating in the 400 Meter Pumpkin Run must still register for the event.
Finishers will receive a personal pumpkin! Please register so we know how may Pumpkins to bring!
Skeleton Skedaddle 5K:
FREE for Participants 10 and under
Participants 13 & over:
- $15 August 21st- October 2nd
- $17 October 3rd – October 26th (Race Day)

Friday, October 24: 3:00 PM to 5:45 PM at RWM HQ; 125 E Main St
Sunday, October 26: 9:15 – 10:10 AM at Race Start in Silver Park
Start/Finish: Silver Park; Near Pavillion.
10:00 am Kid’s Pumpkin Run – A pump-tastic 400 meter dash for the kiddos! The route starts on the paved river trail in Silver Park and ends at the large pavilion under the arch.
10:25 am Skeleton Skedaddle 5K – A spook-tacular 5K that starts and finishes at the large pavilion in Silver Park! This loop course takes advantage of the new Russell Street bridge and Missoula’s river trail system.
Parking: Some parking available at Silver Park; Street parking. Car pooling and biking are strongly encouraged!
*Per Run Wild Missoula event policies, dogs are not allowed to participate in the event with the exception of ADA Service Animals. Service animals must be on non-retractable, 6 foot or less leash.
Overall winner will be 197th!
Top Female, Male and Non-Binary
Age Group Awards (Female, Male, Non-Binary)– 5K Age Divisions: 10 and under,11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+
Proceeds from this event will be donated to University of Montana’s Physical Therapy Student Association to assist students with opportunities to enhance their educational experience. Participants can also make an optional donation during registration to further help support this organization.
